Dexter Loken (he/him) is a nomad currently gallivanting about Brooklyn, NY where he was working as Managing Editor at Defunct but is currently searching for his next great adventure. While living in Tanzania, he transitioned from mathematics to writing science fiction and fantasy. His work appears in Hunger Mountain and Soul-O Travel Magazine. He has a certificate in publishing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and an MFA from Long Island University.
