VOIDSPACE LIVE 2026 (in assoc with Theatre Deli) : 6-7 JUNE 2026 at THEATRE DELI, LONDON

Call for performances, texts, games and multimedia pieces that invite their audience to participate in some way, in addition to watching, reading or listening

This could look like participatory performance (linear or durational, for an audience of one or many) interactive fiction, experimental games, playable art, immersive audio, or formats we haven’t thought of yet.

The Voidspace

The Voidspace is an organisation that explores and platforms grassroots interactive arts. 

We love performances, texts, games and multimedia pieces that invite their audience to participate in some way, in addition to watching, reading or listening

Think interactive theatre, fiction and poetry, performance art, experimental games, audio-visual work, LARP, playable art and playful media of all kinds. 


VOIDSPACE LIVE

On 6-7 June 2026, we are taking over Theatre Deli Leadenhall Street, London (our festival associates and creative partner) to present Voidspace Live 2026, a weekend-long festival of interactive arts. 

Over the last two years, Voidspace Live has showcased a range of interactive performance and installation pieces that invited the audience to interact in various ways. You can find out more about past festivals here. 


OPEN CALL

For Voidspace Live 2026 we are looking for the following types of interactive works:

linear performances (up to 90 minutes);

participatory creative workshops (60-90 minutes);

interactive durational / installation pieces (2 hours or longer);

micro-LARPs (1-2 hours); 

pervasive games; and

installations, exhibits and playable art  (including audio & audiovisual work, experimental games and more)


We can offer:

The following minimum payments:

– £200 per linear or durational performance, or LARP

– £150 per workshop

– £100 per exhibit 

– A possible extra payment in addition to the above minimum, subject to Voidspace Live securing additional funding (not guaranteed)

– For game designers: the opportunity to be considered for Voidspace’s official London Games Week side event in April 2026;

– The chance to be part of the UK’s most varied and exciting interactive arts community
