Type of interaction:
Some forms of interaction in the show are optional, depending on the activities participants decide to engage with: reading documents, creating documents, using recording equipment, interviewing people, attempting puzzles, physically altering the space, inventing scientific theories and solutions.
Some forms of interaction are a core part of the show and not dependent on what activities individuals choose: speaking to actors, speaking to and working with other audience members, small physical activities (like labelling objects; assistance can be given to anyone for whom this poses a barrier).
All participants are treated as people who either have or will time travel, but this does not require pretending to be someone else, and participants can choose how much they want to play up this fiction.
Standing / movement required:
A low-to-moderate amount. Participants will be asked to stand for a couple of minutes at the beginning of the show, and for a couple of minutes at the end of the show.
During the show people will be invited to move around the room but this will be largely at their own pace/discretion – people will have the freedom to move chairs around if needed, and participants can choose more or less physically active tasks during the show.
