Did you know whales communicate through song?
Music their medium they twine tunes
Into a language we will never know
And tell tales to each other in the sea.
However I heard there was one
Who sang a different tune than the rest
Not one of its kind would/could understand
And so it swam unloved, unheard, and alone.
To be a poet is to be cursed with the knowledge
That everything is beautiful, but see
It’s a curse because not many know this, and
It’s a curse because not many will listen.
